Who doesn’t love white Lilies? (well ….. perhaps the odd hayfever sufferer!) The crisp white petals and that heavenly scent! I can’t resist having a sniff when I have them in a vase. They are great in the home or in an office situation. The transition from tight buds to open blooms is a wonder to behold. And you don’t have to worry about those messy stamen getting pollen everywhere. Just pinch out the stamen as the blooms open. This way you get them before the pollen bursts. We will always do this with any open Lily blooms before we send them out. Removing them before they burst also means you won’t get those ugly orange stains on the petals. Good quality Lilies should last 10-14 days when you change the water regularly (every 3 days) and recut their stems.
